State Senior High School 2 South Tangerang has achieved a\npraiseworthy victory. The school, commonly known as \u201cMoonzher\u201d, clinched\nfirst place in the MPR RI\u2019s Provincial Banten 2026 Marching and Flag\nHoisting Creativity Competition (LKBB-PB).<\/p>\n
This resounding victory automatically secures SMAN 2 South\nTangerang\u2019s place as Banten\u2019s official representative. They will compete\nin the MPR RI\u2019s 2026 National Finals of the LKBB-PB competition,\nscheduled to take place in Jakarta next August.<\/p>\n
In a tightly contested competition, the Moonzher squad topped the\nstandings with an impressive 6,020 points. Second place went to State\nSenior High School 2 Serang City with 5,880 points, followed by State\nIslamic Senior High School 1 Lebak Regency in third with 5,870\npoints.<\/p>\n
Ibnu Itsnaini Syahril Muharram, coach of SMAN 2 South Tangerang\u2019s\nLKBB-PB team, expressed immense pride in his students\u2019 determination and\nhard work.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlhamdulillah, we are overjoyed. Especially now that South\nTangerang\u2019s representatives can compete at the national level on behalf\nof Banten Province. May we bring further honour to Banten. We hope the\nstudents remain consistent and deliver their best for the region,\u201d Ibnu\nstated on Sunday (31 May 2026).<\/p>\n
Ibnu added that this strong performance stems from prolonged training\nand team cohesion. With national competitors being provincial champions,\nthe team is committed to intensifying preparations.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will maintain regular training once the national event date is\nconfirmed. Given our experience from last year, we will prepare as\nthoroughly as possible. Hopefully, the students maintain their physical\nfitness and are ready for the competition,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Alvian Christian Larosa, team captain of SMAN 2 South Tangerang, also\nexpressed heartfelt pride. The Year 11 student recounted that reaching\nthe podium required months of sacrifice and strict discipline.<\/p>\n
\u201cInitially, when entering the provincial finals, we were nervous. We\nhad to position ourselves precisely, stay focused, and work cohesively.\nThe preparation was lengthy; for two months we\u2019ve trained at school,\ncovering marching techniques, formation changes, and physical\nconditioning,\u201d Alvian explained.<\/p>\n
Alvian is well aware that national-level competition will be\nsignificantly more intense, facing the best teams across Indonesia.\nHowever, he has chosen to view the challenge as a motivational\nboost.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s tough because it\u2019s a national competition. Preparations must be\neven more thorough. We need to intensify training for the national\nstage. Most importantly, never lose heart and keep dreaming as high as\npossible,\u201d he said optimistically.<\/p>\n
A Platform for Instilling Discipline<\/p>\n
The MPR RI\u2019s LKBB-PB competition is designed as a strategic medium to\ninstil discipline, leadership, mutual cooperation, and nationalist\nspirit among youth. The prestigious provincial competition featured 10\nselected schools from across Banten, including areas of Tangerang,\nSerang, Cilegon, Lebak, and Pandeglang.<\/p>\n
Officials present included Heri Herawan, SH, Deputy for\nAdministration of the MPR RI Secretariat, Agus Subagyo, Chief of the\nSecretariat of the MPR RI Leadership Bureau, and South Tangerang City\nDeputy Mayor Pilar Saga Ichsan.
