SMAN 1 Sambas emerged as the first-place winner in the final of the\nFour Pillars MPR Quiz Competition at the provincial level, which took\nplace in Pontianak yesterday. In the final round, SMAN 1 Sambas defeated\nSMAN 1 Pontianak, which came second, and SMAN 1 Sanggau, which took\nthird place.<\/p>\n
Deputy Chairman of the MPR Socialisation Agency, Agun Gunandjar\nSudarsa, reminded students to make good use of their time and avoid\nactivities that only lead to regret. Especially since there is much\npotential that can be developed in each individual.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt this age, you are vulnerable to negative influences. Especially\nin the digital era, which can lead astray. Therefore, continue to learn,\nbecause education is not merely the transfer of knowledge but also\nattitudes and character,\u201d said Agun in his statement on Sunday\n(10\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n
According to Agun, the Four Pillars form the foundation of the great\nhouse amid globalisation. Because Indonesia\u2019s diversity has the\npotential to cause divisions. For that reason, a unifier is needed to\ntransform various differences into unity and collective strength.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Four Pillars must become the spirit of the Indonesian nation.\nWithin them is Pancasila, which functions as a foundation of values that\ndetermine moral direction and values; the 1945 Constitution of the\nRepublic of Indonesia as a legal framework; NKRI as the living space\nthat must be protected; and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika as the unifying spirit\nfrom the existing diversity,\u201d Agun explained.<\/p>\n
On that occasion, Agun asked the younger generation not to make\ngeographical distance a problem. He emphasised that in the modern era,\nwhat becomes an obstacle for the younger generation is the influx of\nexternal values. Therefore, the Four Pillars must serve as pillars that\nprotect the younger generation from exposure to bad external values.<\/p>\n
\u201cTherefore, the Four Pillars are not enough to just be memorised. But\nthey must take root in the conscience and be applied in everyday life,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n
Agun also extended congratulations to whoever emerged as the winner.\nHe asked them to continue learning and striving, because what they will\nrepresent in the national-level LCC event later is not only the school\nbut also the name of the region.<\/p>\n
For information, the Four Pillars MPR RI Quiz Competition (LCC) at\nthe West Kalimantan provincial level in 2026 was participated in by nine\nentrants, from 137 schools that underwent selection at the district\/city\nlevel. The nine schools are SMAN 1 Pontianak, SMAN 3 Singkawang, SMAN 1\nSeponti, SMA Santo Paulus Pontianak, SMA Katolik Santo Paulus Pontianak,\nSMA Katolik Santo Petrus Pontianak, SMAN 1 Sambas, SMAN 1 Sanggau, MAS\nDarussalam Sengkubang, and MAN 1 Sintang.<\/p>\n
