In connection with the dynamics that occurred during the\nimplementation of the 4 Pillars Quiz Competition (LCC) at the West\nKalimantan provincial level in 2026, and following the apology and\ncomprehensive improvement commitment from the People\u2019s Consultative\nAssembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI), SMAN 1 Pontianak hereby\nissues the following stance statement:<\/p>\n

  1. SMAN 1 Pontianak affirms that the steps taken are part of efforts\nto obtain confirmation and clarification, for the realisation of a\ntransparent, objective, and accountable competition implementation and\nmechanism.<\/p><\/li>\n

  2. SMAN 1 Pontianak expresses appreciation and thanks for the\nattention, support, and concern from various parties in responding to\nthis situation.<\/p><\/li>\n

  3. SMAN 1 Pontianak affirms that the actions taken are not an\nattempt to attack or undermine the credibility of institutions,\ncompetition organisers, or specific individuals.<\/p><\/li>\n

    MPR Awaits Official Letter<\/p>\n

    The MPR RI respects SMAN 1 Pontianak\u2019s decision requesting that the 4\nPillars LCC Final at the West Kalimantan provincial level for 2026 not\nbe rematched. Currently, the MPR is still awaiting an official request\nletter from SMAN 1 Pontianak.<\/p>\n

    Deputy Chairman of the MPR RI, Eddy Soeparno, stated that his side\nhad received the Principal and Vice Principal of SMAN 1 Pontianak at the\nMPR building on Thursday (14\/5\/2026). The meeting was also attended by\nDeputy Chairman of the MPR Hidayat Nur Wahid, Chairman of the 4 Pillars\nSocialisation Agency Abraham Liyanto, and MPR Secretary General Siti\nFauziah.<\/p>\n

    \u201cThe Principal of SMAN 1 along with the Vice Principal stated that\ninternally, SMAN 1 has accepted the results as decided, with them as\nsecond place winners, and they support SMA Sambas to represent West\nKalimantan at the national final,\u201d said Eddy to reporters on Friday\n(15\/5\/2026), as reported by detikNews.<\/p>\n

    Eddy said his side had asked SMAN 1 Pontianak to submit an official\nletter regarding the input. Later, he said, the official letter from\nSMAN 1 Pontianak will serve as the basis for decision-making.<\/p>\n
