"summary": "The national highway at Alas Roban, also known as the \"skull route,\" in the Batang\u2013Kendal stretch of Central Java has been fully restored following severe winds on 4 March 2026 that toppled dozens of trees and 24 electricity poles. The Directorate General of Highways deployed heavy equipment and coordinated with the state electricity company to clear the obstruction and restore power, with traffic returning to normal four-lane operations by Thursday afternoon. The incident temporarily blocked approximately one kilometre of the highway but emergency response measures, including contraflow traffic management, ensured continued passage during the restoration period.",
