        "content": "<p>A fire has broken out again in the Mount Bromo area of Sukapura,\nProbolinggo Regency, East Java. Preliminary information indicates that\nsix people were trapped, three of whom died.<\/p>\n<p>The fire was reported at around 2 pm local time on Thursday (15\nOctober 2026). The two locations said to have been affected are Bukit\nKembang Puncak Sari and Pusung Lingker, east of Mentigen.<\/p>\n<p>Officers from Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS), the\nIndonesian Military (TNI) and the police are currently at the scene to\nevacuate the victims.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPolice, the TNI, Probolinggo Police, Sukapura Police and TNBTS are\ncurrently evacuating the bodies,\u201d said Probolinggo Police Criminal\nInvestigation Unit chief AKP I Made Kembar, as quoted by detikJatim.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will provide further updates,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>No further information has been released about the victims\u2019\nidentities, the cause of the fire or how the six people became\ntrapped.<\/p>",
