Six make off with policeman's car<\/p>\n
TANGERANG: Six robbers managed to make off with a Kijang
\nminivan belonging to a middle-ranking police officer when the
\ndriver was parking the car outside Bintaro housing estate in the
\nPondok Aren district of Tangerang on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n
The driver, Adam Wenas, 32, said that he was about to take his
\nuncle Comr. Jimmy Tailaha, an officer of the logistics department
\nof the National Police Headquarters, to work at about 5 a.m.<\/p>\n
\"But around one kilometer from home, Jimmy asked me to turn
\nback to get his police cap,\" he said.<\/p>\n
Jimmy told Adam to park the van with plate number B 1561 QU
\noutside the estate entrance while he walked home to get the cap.<\/p>\n
As Jimmy entered the housing compound, six unidentified men
\napproached the car and, one carrying a gun, ordered Adam to leave
\nthe car.<\/p>\n
\"I was scared of being shot,\" said Adam, who let the robbers
\nescape with the car, with Jimmy's office documents, uniform and
\npistol.<\/p>\n
Pondok Aren Police who are handling the case have not yet
\nrevealed details of the investigation. -- JP<\/p>",
