        "content": "<p>The PKB branch conference in Bandung Regency has produced six\npotential candidates for the position of district chairman for the\n2026-2031 period.<\/p>\n<p>The forum, held in Soreang on Wednesday (8\/4), serves as a strategic\nmoment for the party led by Muhaimin Iskandar to strengthen its\norganisational structure ahead of upcoming political contests.<\/p>\n<p>Plenary Secretary HM Sidqon revealed that the six names are the best\ncadres emerging from grassroots aspirations. These names will\nsubsequently be submitted to the PKB Central Executive Board for\ndefinitive decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe six names emerging from this conference will be brought to the\nCentral Board for determination. Regarding the results, they are likely\nto be announced next month,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>The six names in the running for PKB Bandung Regency leadership are\nDadang Supriatna (incumbent DPC chairman), Tarya Witarsa (DPC\nsecretary), Reni Rahayu Fauzi (Bandung Regency DPRD chairman), Hadiat\n(DPC treasurer), Ahmad Sahrudin (DPC executive), and Dudi Mustopa (DPRD\nmember).<\/p>\n<p>Responding to his name re-entering the fray, Dadang Supriatna\nemphasised that he fully entrusts the selection mechanism to the central\nleadership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the DPC chairman position, we leave it entirely to the general\nchairman. We in the regions will always comply and align with Gus\nMuhaimin\u2019s instructions,\u201d stated the Bandung Regent.<\/p>\n<p>He also expressed optimism about bringing PKB back to prominence in\nthe 2029 elections.<\/p>\n<p>Seat Gains<\/p>\n<p>PKB Deputy General Chairman Jazilul Fawaid, who directly opened the\nevent, stressed that whoever is elected will face a heavy task.<\/p>\n<p>The Central Board has set an ambitious target for the PKB Bandung\nRegency DPC to increase its legislative seats from 12 to at least 16 to\n20.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBandung Regency is a strong base.
