Six burgle house in Tangerang<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Six burglars broke into a house on Jl. Ciputat
\nBaru, in Ciputat, Tangerang, on Saturday, threatening a
\nbusinessman at knife point.<\/p>\n
A source at the South Jakarta Police precinct said the
\nunidentified men drove to the house in a Kijang van about 3 a.m
\nand broke a window of the house.<\/p>\n
"The house's owner, Nasib, woke up and came to see what was
\ngoing on," the officer said.<\/p>\n
He said one of the burglars threatened Nasib with a sickle and
\ntold him to go into the bedroom.<\/p>\n
He said the other burglars threatened Nasib's wife and two
\nmaids then locked them in a room.<\/p>\n
The officer said the burglars grabbed a three-gram gold ring,
\na four-gram gold necklace, a computer and Rp 2.5 million
\n(US$1,040) in cash.<\/p>\n
When Nasib tried to phone the police found the burglars had
\ncut his telephone line.<\/p>\n
Nasib reported the burglary to neighbors who phoned the
\nCiputat police, he said.<\/p>\n
Police have identified the Kijang van but were still looking
