        "content": "<p>Sisindosat expands business<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Sisindosat Lintasbuana, a sister company of<br>\nstate-owned PT Indosat, plans to establish more joint ventures<br>\nwith foreign firms, company president A. M. Suseto said<br>\nyesterday.<\/p>\n<p>\"We will set up a new joint venture later this year and<br>\nanother one early next year. But I cannot give the details now,\"<br>\nSuseto said.<\/p>\n<p>Sisindosat has decided to postpone its plan for three years to<br>\noffer about 25 percent of its shares to foreign investors, he<br>\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Suseto said Sisindosat planned that its new companies would<br>\noperate satellite-based telecommunications, information<br>\ntechnology and digital mobile cellular telecommunications<br>\nservices.<\/p>\n<p>Sisindosat has four subsidiaries or affiliates: PT Sistelindo<br>\n(35 percent owned), PT EDI Indonesia (49 percent), PT Graha<br>\nLintas Properti (35 percent) and the U.S.-based Global Link (20<br>\npercent).<\/p>\n<p>Sisindosat, PT Pan System and PT Inti of Indonesia and<br>\nInfotech of India signed a memorandum of understanding last April<br>\nto develop and export computer software products.
