The victim\u2019s body was\nleft in the room, where it began to decompose.<\/p>\n<p>The crime came to light on Wednesday (15\/7\/2026) after the victim\u2019s\nsister, RA, visited the location because she could not reach AS.\nInvestigations revealed that AS was allegedly killed by the perpetrator\non Saturday (11\/7).<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the discovery, the suspect\u2019s new girlfriend, DP, had stayed\nin the room and noticed a foul smell. According to Denpasar Police\nPublic Relations Head Iptu I Gede Adi Saputra Jaya, when DP asked MZ\nabout the source of the stench, he became angry and punched the wall,\ntelling her not to ask questions.<\/p>\n<p>When RA arrived at the boarding house to check on her sister, she\nfound the victim\u2019s body hidden under a pile of dolls. She also\nencountered the suspect and struck him before he fled on a motorcycle.\nPolice later apprehended MZ on Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai shortly after\narriving at the scene.
