Singapore offers scholarships<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: The Singapore government is offering scholarships to
\nIndonesian nationals wanting to pursue undergraduate degrees in
\nSingapore.<\/p>\n
The scholarships are offered for one full year for students of
\nall disciplines, except medicine and dentistry, at the Nanyang
\nTechnological University (NTU), the National University of
\nSingapore and the Singapore Management University.<\/p>\n
Candidates must be a citizen of Indonesia, with excellent
\nacademic records and a good command of English.<\/p>\n
The deadline for submitting applications is Jan. 1, 2003 for
\nthe 2003\/2004 academic year.<\/p>\n
In the 2002\/2003 academic year, the Singapore government
\nawarded scholarships to five Indonesians. --JP<\/p>",
