        "content": "<p>Sinar, Samsung sign deal<\/p>\n<p>SHANGHAI (Reuter): The Sinar Mas Group on Friday signed a<br>\ncontract worth US$18.5 million with Samsung Corp, a unit of<br>\nSamsung Group, for substructuring construction work on the $460-<br>\nmillion Bund Finance Center in Shanghai, a company spokesman<br>\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>The center, one of a number of major investments planned in<br>\nChina by the Indonesian investment group, is due for completion<br>\nin 1999.<\/p>\n<p>It comprises a 50-storey office tower, two 27-storey blocks of<br>\napartments and a retail podium.<\/p>\n<p>The contract awarded to Samsung covers the construction of the<br>\nbuilding's three-storey basement, the spokesman said.<\/p>",
