        "content": "<p>In an effort to strengthen Islamic literacy and expand public access\nto the Quran, Sinar Mas, through the Muslim Sinar Mas Foundation (YMSM),\nhas distributed Quranic texts to two state institutions: the Special\nForces Command (Kopassus) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu).\nThe distribution of these Quranic texts is intended to reinforce\nspiritual values within both institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The symbolic handover ceremony took place on Friday, 13 March 2026 at\nKopassus Headquarters in Cijantung. YMSM distributed 600 Quranic texts\nalong with an additional 3,000 litres of cooking oil to support\nincreased needs during the month of Ramadan. The handover was conducted\nby Widyo Pramono and Suwandi, members of YMSM\u2019s supervisory board, and\nreceived directly by Kopassus Commander Lieutenant General Djon\nAfriandi.<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, a distribution of 1,000 Quranic texts and an\nadditional 2,000 litres of cooking oil was made to the Ministry of\nForeign Affairs. The symbolic handover was conducted by Ahmad Rusdi and\nMayerfas, senior YMSM officials, and received directly by Deputy\nMinister of Foreign Affairs Armanatha Nasir at his office.<\/p>\n<p>YMSM General Chair Saleh Husin stated on a separate occasion that\nthis Quranic endowment represents the foundation\u2019s commitment to\nenhancing the quality of public Islamic faith. Through this initiative,\nhe expressed hope that the universal values contained in the Quran will\ncontinue to inspire and strengthen Indonesia\u2019s diplomatic role, which\nupholds peace and humanitarianism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope that the Quranic texts presented as wakaf can be utilised\noptimally, whether for Quranic recitation activities or deepening the\nvalues contained within them, so that they can provide inspiration in\ncarrying out duties and service to the nation,\u201d he said on Friday, 13\nMarch.<\/p>\n<p>The YMSM, as a vehicle for Islamic practice within the Sinar Mas\nenvironment, continues to prioritise values of openness, tolerance,\nequality, and compassion. Beyond internal activities, the foundation\nalso builds communication with various figures and institutions that\nshare similar objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2008, with the support of APP Group, the Quranic endowment\nprogramme has distributed approximately 1.4 million Quranic texts to\nvarious regions across Indonesia. Distribution is conducted through\nSinar Mas business units scattered across different regions to reach\nreligious institutions, educational institutions, community groups, and\nmilitary units across various territories, including Indonesia\u2019s remote\nborder regions.<\/p>",
