The dispensation period runs from Thursday, 28\nMay 2026, to Saturday, 30 May 2026. Those whose SIMs expired on\nWednesday, 27 May 2026, can still renew their licenses through the\nstandard procedure without needing to apply for a new SIM. \u2018BPKb\nservices closed on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, and will reopen on Thursday,\n28 May 2026,\u2019 stated Jakarta Regional TrafficPolice on their official\nsocial media (27 May 2026). The public is urged to make use of the\ndispensation period before the deadline expires on Saturday, 30 May\n2026, as exceeding this period would require reapplying for a new SIM\nfrom scratch, including all procedures such as theory and practical\ntests.
