        "content": "<p>PT Astra Daihatlar Motor utilised the Gaikindo Indonesia\nInternational Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 to introduce refreshes to its\nproduct line. Three models received updates: the New Astra Daihatsu\nSigra, the Terios Special Edition, and a new variant of the Gran Max\nBlind Van 1.5 M\/T AC PS. This move is part of Daihatsu\u2019s effort to\nstrengthen its product selection in both the family vehicle and\ncommercial vehicle segments.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of these three models took place at ICE BSD City,\nTangerang, on Friday (31\/07\/2026), attended by key executives including\nRokky Irvayandi, Marketing Director &amp; Corporate Function Director of\nPT Astra Daihatsu Motor; Tri Mulyono, Marketing &amp; Customer Relation\nDivision Head of PT Astra International Tbk Daihatsu Sales Operation;\nand Mark Widjaja, Industrial Design Division Head of PT Astra Daihatsu\nMotor.<\/p>\n<p>The most significant refresh was applied to the New Astra Daihatsu\nSigra, particularly the top-tier 1.2 R variant, available in both manual\nand automatic transmissions. This seven-passenger Low Cost Green Car\n(LCGC) now features a sportier appearance, targeting first-time car\nbuyers seeking a more dynamic family vehicle. Exterior changes include\ntwo-tone colour options, a black shark fin antenna, red accents on the\ngrille, a new front bumper, new wheel designs, and a rear spoiler. Black\naccents have also been applied to the exterior mirrors, door handles,\nand rear door garnish, paired with a contrasting roof colour. Inside,\nthe Sigra features red accents on the dashboard and door trim, along\nwith a new head unit supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The New\nSigra 1.2 R is priced between Rp 173.2 million and Rp 195.9 million,\ndepending on the variant and transmission.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Sigra, Daihatsu introduced a limited-edition\nTerios Special Edition, with only 20 units produced. Based on the Terios\n1.5 X A\/T, this SUV emphasises a rugged character through two-tone paint\nwith a black roof, new side decals, a dark chrome \u2018D\u2019 emblem, gloss\nblack wheels, and black door handles and mirror covers. The interior\nfeatures silver accents on the centre cluster and side air vents, while\na premium feel is enhanced by black metallic accents on the bezels and\ntransmission cover, paired with chrome-plated inner door handles. It\nalso includes a rear camera for parking assistance. The Terios Special\nEdition is priced at Rp 264.35 million.<\/p>\n<p>In the commercial vehicle segment, Daihatsu introduced the Gran Max\nBlind Van 1.5 M\/T AC PS as a more affordable option. This variant uses a\n1,500 cc Dual VVT-i engine producing 97 HP and a maximum torque of 134\nNm. To improve comfort, it is now equipped with Electronic Power\nSteering, intermittent wipers, and 14-inch wheels. The Gran Max Blind\nVan 1.5 M\/T AC PS is priced at Rp 195.1 million.<\/p>\n<p>During GIIAS 2026, Daihatsu is also offering various sales\nprogrammes, including trade-ins, administration fee waivers, health and\naccident insurance, and various prize draws. Rokky Irvayandi stated that\nthe presence of these three models is part of the company\u2019s commitment\nto providing mobility solutions for various community needs. He noted\nthat Daihatsu hopes these new products will contribute to the growth of\nthe industry and motorisation in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Daihatsu noted that these three models contribute significantly to\nits Indonesian sales. Since its introduction in 2013, the Daihatsu LCGC\nline, consisting of the Sigra and Ayla, has sold over 780,000 units.\nMeanwhile, the Terios has recorded over 360,000 units sold since 2007,\nand the Gran Max has sold over 950,000 units in the same period. This\nachievement is supported by an after-sales network comprising 250\noutlets, 170 official workshops, over 300 Daihatsu Mobile Service (DMS)\nfleets, and more than 3,000 spare part shops across over 500 cities and\nregencies in Indonesia.<\/p>",
