Logistics company SiCepat has launched a new service, ‘SiCepat
Logistik’, targeting manufacturers, brand owners, distributors,
retailers, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

SiCepat Ekspres CEO Barry Lim said the key advantage of the service
lies in the integration of the entire logistics process within a single
system, meaning customers no longer need to coordinate with multiple
service providers.

‘So, what differentiates SiCepat Logistik is not just the variety of
services we offer, but how all these services operate within the same
system,’ Barry said during the launch at the Puninar Warehouse Complex
in East Jakarta on Tuesday.

The service is a business-to-business (B2B) logistics solution
supported by the operational network strength of SiCepat Ekspres. He
explained that customers no longer need to manage many vendors with
differing standards and visibility; instead, they have one partner, one
system, and one point of accountability, from the warehouse to the end
customer.

The services provided include Full Truckload (FTL), Less Than
Truckload (LTL), warehousing, heavy cargo, custom logistics, air and sea
freight forwarding, export-import services with customs clearance, and
various value-added services. The last-mile delivery to the end customer
is then carried out by SiCepat Ekspres through various channels, such as
e-commerce, social commerce, web stores, offline shops, and agent and
drop point networks.

This integration allows the entire supply chain process to be managed
comprehensively, from raw material distribution to products reaching
various sales channels.

In addition, the company introduced SiCepat Fast Lane, an
inter-island distribution service via sea routes that offers faster
delivery times compared to standard sea freight. This service also
offers more economical rates than air freight, with consistent departure
schedules that help businesses plan their goods distribution.

Meanwhile, SiCepat Ekspres Commercial and External Affairs Director
Imam Sedayu Pusponegoro expressed hope that SiCepat Logistik could
contribute up to 10 per cent of the company’s revenue. He noted that the
logistics business relies heavily on trust, so building a strong
foundation in the first year will make it easier for the business to
grow subsequently.

‘In the first year, SiCepat Logistik can contribute up to 10 per cent
because this first year is the year we build the foundation,’ he
said.
",
