Unless, of course, he wants the<br>\nPresident's opponents to succeed.<\/p>\n<p>There are many steps he could take. He could reopen the U.S.<br>\nembassy in Jakarta, rather than peevishly closing it because of a<br>\nrather enigmatic \"credible threat\". He could return to his post<br>\nrather than sulkingly leaving it for undefined \"personal<br>\nreasons\".
