"summary": "The Attorney General's Office has named Hery Susanto, Chairman of the Indonesian Ombudsman, as a suspect in a corruption case involving the governance of nickel mining trade in Southeast Sulawesi from 2013 to 2025. Investigators allege that Hery received Rp1.5 billion from the director of PT TSHI to issue a recommendation that allowed the company to recalculate its non-tax state revenue obligations to the Ministry of Forestry, effectively nullifying the ministry's initial assessment. This development underscores ongoing concerns about corruption in Indonesia's mining sector and the integrity of oversight institutions.",
