"summary": "Indonesia's plan to ship 2,200 tonnes of rice for the needs of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims is likely to fail due to the outbreak of war in the Middle East, as revealed by Minister of Hajj and Umrah Mochamad Irfan Yusuf during a meeting with the DPR's Commission VIII. While rice requirements for 1,600 Hajj officials total 30 tonnes and will still be airlifted, other provisions like 307.3 tonnes of pasta spices (93.5% produced) are being delivered via sea and air routes, with ready-to-eat meals for over 205,000 pilgrims on track for full distribution by 25 April 2026. This disruption highlights the vulnerability of international religious logistics to regional conflicts, potentially impacting the welfare of Indonesian pilgrims.",
