Sheraton has a facelift<\/p>\n
YOGYAKARTA: The five-star Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Resort &
\nSpa, a property of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts chain, is
\nrenovating its Grand Ballroom, lobby and 100 of its guest rooms
\nas part of Starwood's grand plan to improve in line with
\ninternational standards.<\/p>\n
According to Sheraton Mustika's PR Manager Bambang WS, the
\nrenovation of the hotel's lobby and Grand Ballroom that started
\nthis month is scheduled to finish in November 2003, while the 100
\nguest rooms are expected to be completed by the end of this year.<\/p>\n
"We finished renovating another 100 guest rooms last year,"
\nBambang said.<\/p>\n
All of the hotel's 214 rooms will have a more "harmonious"
\ninterior design, combining contemporary and traditional style.<\/p>\n
The lobby's renovation is also to give a new atmosphere of
\nsimplicity in the Javanese traditional culture, which is always
\nmaintained by the hotel management, including the way the hotel
\nwill greet its guests.<\/p>\n
"During the renovation, the guests can check in and check out
\nas usual. The front desk and the concierge desk were temporarily
\nmoved to the eastern part of the hotel's lobby," Bambang said. --
