“Peace is not merely the absence of war. It is a virtue,” wrote
philosopher Baruch Spinoza.

Social initiatives involving children are seen not only to focus on
providing assistance but also to play a crucial role in cultivating
self-confidence and hope for the future. This was evident in the event
organised by QNET in Surakarta, Central Java, involving around 100
children from three foundations: Nur Hidayah, Maju Bangsaku, and Pondok
Yatim Darul Ihsan.

In addition to receiving aid in the form of school stationery and
financial support, each foundation also received assistance for
developing facilities and infrastructure. General Manager of QNET
Indonesia, Ade Suci Sukmawati, stated that this CSR programme is part of
the company’s commitment to delivering tangible benefits to society.

“Every year, we present sharing programmes during Ramadan as a form
of commitment to spreading goodness that can be directly felt by the
community,” she said.

She added that the activity also aligns with the company’s
philosophy, Raise Yourself To Help Mankind (RYTHM), which emphasises the
importance of contributions to improving quality of life.

“Not only material assistance, we want to instil spirit and
motivation so that children continue to learn, work hard, and achieve
their dreams,” she said.

Meanwhile, foundation representative Siti Aminuriyah assessed the
event as providing a memorable experience for the children. According to
her, the shared iftar experience became a moment that could boost the
children’s self-confidence while motivating them to have higher
aspirations.

She also added that interactions with various parties demonstrating
social care can serve as inspiration for children to view the future
more optimistically.

The Ramadan theme as a month of humanity was chosen to affirm that
Ramadan is not only interpreted as a momentum for personal worship but
also for strengthening social care.
",
