        "content": "<p>Share prices fall on JSX<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Share prices on the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) <br>\nmostly closed lower in heavy trading yesterday after a two-day <br>\nholiday last Thursday and Friday and the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The broad-based Composite Index lost 6.46 points to close at <br>\n485.9 yesterday from 492.37 last Wednesday, when the index gained <br>\n5.15 points.<\/p>\n<p>The narrower-based GTDBS-50 Index weakened to close at 115.72, <br>\n1.54 points lower from 117.26 last Wednesday, in which it gained <br>\n1.58 points.<\/p>\n<p>Among yesterday's five gainers were Bakrie &amp; Brothers (up Rp <br>\n200) and Panca Wiratama Sakti (up Rp 750).<\/p>\n<p>Losers included Bank Int'l Indonesia (down Rp 600),<br>\nSuba Indah (down Rp 500), Barito Pacific (down Rp 450), HM <br>\nSampoerna (down Rp 300), Kabel Metal Indonesia and Dharmala Sakti <br>\nSejahtera (down Rp 250 each).<\/p>\n<p>Total trading volume increased to 19.72 million shares valued <br>\nat Rp 87.4 billion (US$40.74 million) yesterday from 17.39 <br>\nmillion shares worth Rp 96.52 billion last Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Around 6.68 million shares valued at Rp 29.67 billion of <br>\nyesterday's total volume changed hands on the regular market, <br>\n272,428 shares worth of Rp 817,28 million on the bloc sale board <br>\nand 71,000 shares valued at Rp 493.32 million on the foreign <br>\nboard.<\/p>\n<p>The odd lot and cash trading boards record no transactions <br>\nyesterday.
