        "content": "<p>Share prices fall further on JSX<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Share prices on the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) <br>\ncontinued drifting lower yesterday in line with the downward <br>\ntrend on other Asian markets.<\/p>\n<p>The broad-based Composite Index closed 5.98 points lower from <br>\n473.96 on Wednesday. The narrower-based GTDBS-50 Index also <br>\nweakened to 111.12 from 111.79.<\/p>\n<p>Losers included Modern Photo (down Rp 1,750), Schering Plough <br>\n(down Rp 1,500), Sorini Corp. (down Rp 700), Kalbe Farma (down Rp <br>\n600), Alumindo Perkasa, Astra Int&apos;l Inc. and  Astra Graphia (down <br>\nRp 500 each), Bayer Indonesia (down Rp 400), Unggul Indah, Inter <br>\nPacific Bank, Dankos Laboratories and Bank Bali (down Rp 300 <br>\neach).<\/p>\n<p>Among the gainers were Sari Husada (up Rp 1,000), <br>\nIndocement (up Rp 850), Tigaraksa and Polysindo Eka Perkasa (up <br>\nRp 500 each).<\/p>\n<p>Trading volume sank to 10.9 million shares valued at Rp 63.34 <br>\nbillion (US$29.53 million) yesterday from 13.66 million shares <br>\nvalued at Rp 66.05 billion ($31.45 million) on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 6.17 million shares valued at Rp 27.92 billion of <br>\nthe total volume changed hands on the regular market, 3.88 <br>\nmillion shares worth Rp 26.94 million on the cross trading board <br>\nand 848,500 million shares valued at Rp 8.47 million on the <br>\nforeign board. The odd lot trading board recorded transactions of <br>\n100 shares worth of Rp 380,000.<\/p>\n<p>No shares were traded on the bloc sale and cash trading boards <br>\nyesterday.(icn)<\/p>",
