        "content": "<p>Share prices continue falling on JSX<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Share prices continued to close lower on the <br>\nJakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) yesterday with most issues losing <br>\nground in heavy trading.<\/p>\n<p>The broad-based Composite Index closed 4.95 points lower at <br>\n480.95 yesterday from 485.9 on Monday, when it lost 6.46 points.<\/p>\n<p>The narrower-based GTDBS-50 Index also weakened to close at <br>\n114.79 from 115.72.<\/p>\n<p>Losers included Bakrie &amp; Brothers (down Rp 800), Kalbe Farma <br>\n(down Rp 600), Smart Corporation (down Rp 325), Astra Int'l Inc. <br>\nand HM Sampoerna (down Rp 300 each) and Duta Anggada Realty (down <br>\nRp 250).<\/p>\n<p>Trading volume sank to 8.08 million shares valued at Rp 35.82 <br>\nbillion (US$16.7 million) yesterday from 19.72 million shares <br>\nvalued at Rp 87.4 billion ($40.74 million) on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Around 4.96 million shares valued at Rp 20.84 billion of the <br>\ntotal volume changed hands on the regular market, 2.09 million <br>\nshares worth Rp 9.01 million on the cross trading board and 1.02 <br>\nmillion shares valued at Rp 5.96 million on the foreign board.<\/p>\n<p>No shares were traded on the bloc sale, odd lot and cash <br>\ntrading boards yesterday.
