As a Moslem I am deeply concerned over the row occurring in
\nthe Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) organization. Uncontrolled ambition has
\nmade an ulema act contrary to the qualities of an ulema. In this
\ncase, Abu Hasan with his group, who do not want to accept the
\nresult of the NU Congress held in Cipasung, has formed a \"shadow\"
\nNU board of executives.<\/p>\n
Is he not aware that as a member of an organization, one must
\nabide by the rules stipulated in the Order of Organization and
\nthe bylaw. All activities must be based on the organization's
\nregulations.<\/p>\n
I wonder whether Abu Hasan's actions are in line with NU's
\nvalues. We are witnessing a phenomenon in the NU organization
\nwhich does not reflect the virtues of an ordinary Moslem, let
\nalone an ulema.<\/p>\n
