        "content": "<p>Several areas in Bandung Regency are experiencing drought as a result\nof a prolonged dry season. The Bandung Regency Disaster Management\nAgency (BPBD) has begun intensifying the distribution of clean water\nassistance. One of the affected areas is Wargaluyu Village, Arjasari\nDistrict, where dozens of community units (RW) have reported water\nsupply shortages. \u201cAlhamdulillah, we have distributed 15,000 litres of\nclean water. A total of 666 families, comprising 2,134 individuals\nacross three RWs in Wargaluyu, have received clean water assistance,\u201d\nsaid the Head of Prevention and Preparedness at BPBD Bandung Regency,\nDiki Sudrajat. Diki emphasised that the agency is committed to\ncontinuing the supply of aid to affected residents. In its\nimplementation, BPBD is collaborating with the Bandung Regency\nIndonesian Red Cross (PMI) to reach residential areas. \u201cWe are\nconducting the distribution of clean water using water tankers,\u201d he\nsaid. BPBD noted that several other districts are also experiencing\ndrought, including Rancaekek, Cimaung, Cileunyi, Katapang, Pasirjambu,\nand Margaasih. \u201cWe are also supplying clean water to other areas\naffected by the drought,\u201d he explained. To minimise the impact of a\nwider drought, BPBD continues to coordinate with various stakeholders.\nIn addition to sending water tankers, long-term efforts through the\noptimisation of piping networks are also being undertaken.<\/p>",
