        "content": "<p>A total of seven suitcases belonging to Thai tourists went missing\noutside the Sukapura Pavilion in Wonotoro Village, Probolinggo Regency.\nAuthorities have highlighted the issue of illegal parking as one of the\ncontributing factors to theft in the Bromo tourism area.<\/p>\n<p>The Probolinggo Regency government affirmed that it has prepared a\nnumber of official parking locations for tourists visiting the Bromo\narea. These designated parking sites include the Seruni Point Glass\nBridge Terminal Area, Cemoro Lawang Rest Area, Ngadisari Grand Pavilion,\nand Wisma Ucik.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo not park in inappropriate locations, especially those without\nattendants, and do not leave valuable belongings in vehicles,\u201d said\nProbolinggo Regency Secretary Ugas Irwanto on Tuesday (17 February\n2026).<\/p>\n<p>He added that the case remains under police investigation, with\nofficers still collecting CCTV footage from the vicinity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope the police can swiftly resolve this matter, as the\nperpetrators have damaged the tourism sector, particularly in\nProbolinggo Regency, which is currently striving to develop its tourism\nindustry.
