        "content": "<p>South Tangerang \u2014 East Ciputat Police have moved swiftly to\nanticipate potential brawls and street crime during the holy month of\nRamadan. Seven monitoring posts have been established at various\nvulnerable locations to maintain a conducive security environment.<\/p>\n<p>The monitoring posts were set up on Wednesday, 18 February 2026 at\napproximately 5.20pm local time. The measure represents an intensive\nsurveillance effort to prevent disruptions to public security and order\n(kamtibmas) across the Ciputat and East Ciputat areas.<\/p>\n<p>East Ciputat Police Chief, Commissioner Bambang Askar Sodiq, affirmed\nhis commitment to maintaining security throughout the fasting month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are prepared for a full month to protect residents so they can\nobserve Ramadan with devotion. Protect the people, protect the\nenvironment, uphold the rules, and guard the trust for the Republic of\nIndonesia,\u201d he said on Thursday, 19 February 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He also set a target for the Ciputat and East Ciputat areas to be\nentirely free from brawls. This initiative was described as the result\nof a joint agreement among local Muspika (sub-district coordination\nforum) elements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cZero brawls in the Ciputat and East Ciputat areas, in accordance\nwith the agreement reached with the Sub-district Head and Military\nDistrict Commander. We have established monitoring posts at seven\nlocations to prevent public order disturbances caused by youth brawls,\nstreet racing, provocative sahur on the road activities that trigger\nfights, drag racing, and sarong battles,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Police confirmed that the establishment of the monitoring posts\nproceeded safely, in an orderly fashion, and without incident.
