Servo sets up Indonesian base<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Chemicals producer Servo Delden BV of the
\nNetherlands has completed the construction of its manufacturing
\nplant in Bekasi, West Java, and plans to make it a supplying base
\nfor the domestic and regional market.<\/p>\n
The company's Indonesian unit, PT Servo Indonesia, president,
\nPaul Van Der Velden, said during a ceremony to dedicate the plant
\nlast Thursday: \"This is a suitable opportunity to declare that
\nthere is at least one international company from the Netherlands
\nwhich is still convinced about Indonesia's economic potential for
\nthe future.\"<\/p>\n
He said Servo Deldon used to supply the Asian market from its
\nmanufacturing plant in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n
The new plant occupies a 6,000-square-meter plot in the
\nCikarang industrial complex.<\/p>\n
It has the production capacity of 2,500 tons per year with 50
\nchemical products, including oil-field chemicals, coating
\nadditives, surfactant and specialties chemicals and pulp and<\/p>",
