Serving others<\/p>\n
It is a tough time for all of us. Not only here in Jakarta or
\nIndonesia, but all around the world humanity is experiencing the
\nchange of time. It is a reform of the worldwide political and
\nglobal economic system down to individual transformation.<\/p>\n
We have been going down our path of separateness, injuring
\nourselves due to our selfishness and greed for wealth and power.
\nWe have lived to search for any opportunity to \"take\" rather than
\nto \"give\", and to serve ourselves rather than to serve others.<\/p>\n
It is now time for us to transform ourselves, and to remember
\nthat we all are members of a humanity. To bring about this inner
\ntransformation, we are given all kinds of catalysts, from
\ndevastating natural catastrophes to manmade calamities, that make
\nus suffer beyond normal endurance.<\/p>\n
We have been injured physically, emotionally as well as
\nmentally. We feel our pain, our sorrow and we are often in
\ndespair. We feel the darkness around us, and at times we even
\ndoubt if there is a little spark of light at the end of the
\ntunnel where we can enjoy peace.<\/p>\n
It is human nature that sometimes we cannot help ourselves
\nfrom harboring hatred and having the urge for revenge. On the
\nother hand, we also notice very clearly that more and more of us
\nare deeply touched in our hearts, compelled by an inner urge to
\nhelp and to serve others in need. Through the hardship around us,
\nmore and more of us have been transformed from having the
\nattitude to serve \"one-self\" into dedicating \"one-self\" to serve
\nothers.<\/p>\n
For those who have felt their innermost calling to serve but
\nfeel helpless about what to do to make a difference in this
\nphysical world, there is a powerful way they can help on the
\nmetaphysical level.<\/p>\n
It is by being a channel for the divine energy through
\nmeditation and or prayer, which is now being done by more and
