        "content": "<p>Seribu officials criticized<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: City Council Commission A for administrative affairs<br>\ncriticized Regent of Kepulauan Seribu Regency Kamil Abdul Kadir<br>\nand other officials for not occupying their official dwellings in<br>\nthe regency.<\/p>\n<p>\"Commission A thinks that the facilities in the Kepulauan<br>\nSeribu regency are essential, but they have become useless, as<br>\nthey are not used by the officials,\" commission spokesman Saleh<br>\nRachman said here on Monday in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The statement was made at the City Council's plenary session<br>\nin response to Governor Sutiyoso's accountability speech for the<br>\n2001 budget.<\/p>\n<p>The commission has said that the city administration has spent<br>\nRp 1 billion on renting houses for the regent, the deputy regent,<br>\nthe regency's secretary, the district heads, and on dormitories<br>\nfor workers of the regency and district administrations.<\/p>\n<p>The money was also allocated for renting offices for two<br>\ndistrict heads in the regency, as well as for buying equipment<br>\nfor the office and other rented houses.--JP<\/p>",
