        "content": "<p>Sentosa reports losses<\/p>\n<p>SURABAYA (JP): Publicly listed PT Trias Sentosa reported a net<br>\nloss of Rp 24.67 billion (about US$1.76 million) last year<br>\ncompared to a net profit of Rp 31.10 billion in 1996.<\/p>\n<p>Company director Yamin Chandra said the loss was attributed to<br>\na foreign exchange loss of Rp 54 billion due to the rupiah's<br>\nsharp depreciation against the U.S. dollar.<\/p>\n<p>He said, however, that the packaging paper and biaxially<br>\noriented polypropylene manufacturer managed to record a 28<br>\npercent increase in net sales to Rp 206.57 billion last year from<br>\nRp 160.91 billion the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>He said exports contributed Rp 56 billion to the company's net<br>\nsales in 1997.
