        "content": "<p>Mataram (ANTARA) \u2014 Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKBP) Didik\nPutra Kuncoro has become an additional suspect following the expanded\ninvestigation of a narcotics case under the control of the West Nusa\nTenggara (NTB) Regional Police, which had previously named Adjunct\nCommissioner of Police (AKP) Malaungi as a suspect.<\/p>\n<p>AKBP Didik\u2019s status as a suspect in the narcotics case was revealed\nthrough a statement by AKP Malaungi\u2019s legal counsel, Asmuni, in Mataram\non Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAKBP D (Didik) has already been named a suspect,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He corroborated the information by stating that he was currently\nproviding legal assistance to his client, AKP Malaungi, who was\nundergoing examination as a witness in relation to AKBP Didik\u2019s suspect\nstatus at the NTB Regional Police Narcotics Directorate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am still accompanying AKP ML (Malaungi) during examination as a\nwitness,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the witness examination in the narcotics case, Asmuni\ndisclosed that on Tuesday (17 February), his client underwent\nexamination before the National Police Headquarters\u2019 Professional and\nSecurity Division (Propam) regarding AKBP Didik\u2019s ethical\nproceedings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Propam examination was already conducted last Tuesday (17\nFebruary),\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>NTB Regional Police Head of Public Relations, Commissioner Mohammad\nKholid, when asked to confirm the information from AKP Malaungi\u2019s legal\ncounsel, had not yet responded either by telephone or written message\nvia WhatsApp.<\/p>\n<p>AKBP Didik had previously been officially informed by National Police\nHeadquarters of his suspect status for narcotics possession.<\/p>\n<p>From the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency\u2019s (Bareskrim)\nnarcotics investigation, the suspended Bima City Police Chief was named\na suspect for alleged violations of Article 609 paragraph (2) letter (a)\nof the Criminal Code in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2026 on\nCriminal Provisions, as well as Article 62 of Law Number 5 of 1997 on\nPsychotropic Substances.<\/p>\n<p>AKBP Didik was named a suspect following the expanded investigation\nstemming from the arrest of two of his household assistants, First\nBrigadier KIR and Didik\u2019s wife, identified by the initials AN. National\nPolice Headquarters found 30.415 grammes of methamphetamine as evidence\nat their private residence.<\/p>\n<p>The National Police Headquarters team also searched AKBP Didik\u2019s\nprivate residence in Tangerang on 11 February 2026, discovering 16.3\ngrammes of methamphetamine, 50 ecstasy tablets, 19 alprazolam tablets, 2\nHappy Five tablets, and 5 grammes of ketamine.<\/p>",
