Seminar to discuss coal<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia and the Netherlands are to jointly
\nhost a seminar on clean coal technology for electricity supply on
\nMay 14 and 15 to explore the possibility of cooperation between
\nthe two countries in the energy sector.<\/p>\n
The Indonesian-Netherlands Association (INA), the two
\ncountries' business association, announced yesterday that the
\ntwo-day seminar will be opened by Minister of Mines and Energy
\nI.B. Sudjana and Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs G.J. Wijers.<\/p>\n
During the seminar, the two countries' experts will have the
\nopportunity to exchange views on the technology and to identify
\navenues of cooperation that might be pursued.<\/p>\n
According to Yogo Pratomo of the Ministry of Mines and Energy,
\nZuhal, the director general of electricity and energy development
\nat the ministry, and C.W.M. Dessens, the director general of
\nenergy at the Dutch ministry of economy will also sign an
\nagreement on technology cooperation between the two countries.
