Seminar to discuss antigraft education<\/p>\n
YOGYAKARTA: An interfaith coalition of religious-based
\nuniversities said it will hold a seminar here on Tuesday to
\ndiscuss war on corruption through educational courses.<\/p>\n
The forum will specifically discuss an anticorruption
\neducation program for university students, which has been
\ndesigned by the coalition.<\/p>\n
Muhammadiyah chairman Ahmad Syafii Maarif, People's
\nConsultative Assembly speaker Hidayat Nurwahid and Minister of
\nReligious Affairs M. Maftuh Basyuni are scheduled to address the
\none-day seminar.<\/p>\n
Other speakers include Frans Magnis Suseno, Emanuel Gerrit
\nSinggih and Johar M.S.<\/p>\n
The coalition's program manager for anticorruption education,
\nIsnaini Muallidin, said his side considers that antigraft
\neducation is urgent to encourage people to say \"No\" to
\ncorruption.<\/p>\n
The coalition plans to educate people so as to avoid or fight
\ncorruption through formal courses and religious sermons in houses
