        "content": "<p>Seminar on gas technology<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): State-owned oil and gas company Pertamina and<br>\nJapan's Osaka Gas of International Cultural Exchange will sponsor<br>\na seminar here tomorrow to promote the use of environmentally-<br>\nfriendly gas technology.<\/p>\n<p>The chairman of the seminar's organizing committee, Bambang<br>\nSugiarto, said yesterday Blue Sky Seminar '97 would feature<br>\nspeakers from the University of Indonesia, the Bandung Institute<br>\nof Technology and the Bogor Institute of Agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar is open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Bambang said the seminar would provide information on gas<br>\nutilization and its impact on the environment, in addition to<br>\npresenting research findings on environmentally-sound gas<br>\ntechnology, sponsored by the Osaka Gas Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Osaka Gas Foundation head Minoru Wakasika said his<br>\norganization, formed in 1992 by Osaka Gas of Japan, aimed at<br>\nproviding financial assistance to people in Southeast Asian to<br>\npursue domestic and foreign study on gas technology.
