        "content": "<p>Semarang thief burned alive<\/p>\n<p>SEMARANG, Central: Mob justice took its toll on Friday morning<br>\nwhen a group of people beat and burned alive a youth for<br>\nallegedly stealing kitchen utensils.<\/p>\n<p>Antara quoted eyewitnesses as saying that Inung, 20, was<br>\ncaught red-handed as he was about to make off with the stolen<br>\ngoods.<\/p>\n<p>He was dragged to a field behind Sendangmulyo Hospital where<br>\nthe mob beat him, doused his body with kerosene and then set it<br>\nablaze, they said.<\/p>\n<p>Eyewitnesses said Inung's scorched body was then left in the<br>\nfield until the police arrived on the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Chief of South Semarang sector police, Sgt. B.S. Hadi Nugroho,<br>\nwho was at the scene of the crime, confiscated the cooking pan,<br>\nspoons, forks, and other utensils as evidence.<\/p>\n<p>A number of people at said Inung and two other friends<br>\nfrequently steal from residents of the housing complex in Rumpun<br>\nDiponegoro IV, Mangunharjo district.<\/p>",
