        "content": "<p>Officers at the Semarang Correctional Institution (Lapas), Central\nJava, have secured scissors and improvised sharp weapons during a raid\nacross 32 residential cells.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Semarang Prison, Ahmad Tohari, stated in Semarang on\nWednesday that the raid is part of routine early detection activities\ncarried out to prevent security disturbances.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will continue to monitor to prevent the misuse and circulation of\ndrugs within the prison,\u201d said Tohari.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the joint raid involved approximately 50 prison\nofficers alongside personnel from the National Police, the Indonesian\nNational Armed Forces (TNI), and the National Narcotics Agency\n(BNN).<\/p>\n<p>Tohari ensured that the searches of the residential cells were\nconducted humanely while adhering to applicable regulations.<\/p>\n<p>For inmates found in possession of dangerous items, the prison\nauthorities will impose sanctions in accordance with existing\nregulations.<\/p>\n<p>From approximately 70 prisoners and officers who underwent urine\ntesting, all results were declared negative for drugs.<\/p>\n<p>These raids and inspections will continue as part of the efforts to\nmaintain security and prevent the misuse and circulation of narcotics\nwithin the Semarang Prison environment.<\/p>",
