        "content": "<p>The Semarang City Government is accelerating infrastructure handling\nin various areas, from upgrading strategic roads and repairing\nneighbourhood routes to dredging waterways. These steps aim to ensure\nsmooth mobility for residents, enhance road user safety, and reduce the\nrisk of flooding and waterlogging.<\/p>\n<p>One major achievement is evident on Jalan Pramuka in Pudakpayung\nWard, which has been repaired and inaugurated by the Mayor of Semarang,\nAgustina Wilujeng, along with Member of Commission V of the House of\nRepresentatives, Mochamad Herviano Widyatama, on Tuesday, 28 April 2026.\nThe road can now be utilised by the public as an important access point\nin the upper areas of Semarang City.<\/p>\n<p>Agustina stated that the Jalan Pramuka improvement project is part of\nthe Presidential Instruction for Regional Roads (IJD) programme, with a\ncontract value of Rp18.9 billion, covering road widening from 4.5 metres\nto 5.5 metres as well as the construction of drainage along 2.3\nkilometres. She explained that Jalan Pramuka plays a strategic role as a\nconnector between educational and residential areas in the upper region\nof Semarang City.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJalan Pramuka is an icon of upper Semarang City that connects two\nmajor educational centres, UNDIP and UNNES. This road serves as the main\nroute used daily by students and the public,\u201d said Agustina.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, these improvements bring direct benefits to the\ncommunity, from faster travel times and reduced accident risks due to\ndamaged roads to increased comfort in daily activities. \u201cThis\ninauguration is not just a road repair, but a pathway of hope that opens\naccess, strengthens connectivity, and encourages community economic\nactivity,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>The development of Jalan Pramuka is the result of collaboration\nbetween the central government through the Ministry of Public Works, the\nCentral Java-DIY Main Implementation Unit for National Roads (BBPJN),\nand support from Commission V of the House of Representatives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Mayor of Semarang cannot proceed alone.
