\u201cLawang Sewu, meaning a thousand doors, is likened to a door wide\nopen for domestic filmmakers to tell their stories to the world. \u201cAgustina explained that LOFF 2026\u2019s programme will run from May to\nOctober. Unlike in previous years, this festival is designed to present\nthe Lawang Talks discussion forum, the Workshop & Mini Lab\nworkshops, funding stimulus through the LOFF Film Fund, and an\nexhibition space at LOFF Market and Film Week.<\/p>\n
She emphasised that the upstream and downstream programme series\nconstitutes government support for the sustainability of the creative\nindustry in the region. The Semarang City Government is striving to\nfacilitate spaces for digital industry players to be able to produce\nworks with high economic value without losing their local cultural\nidentity.<\/p>\n

Top-tier filmmakers such as Hanung Bramantyo,\nNirina Zubir, and Yandy Laurens are confirmed to participate directly as\na jury panel to provide assessments based on industry standards.<\/p>\n
Agustina hopes that the involvement of these professionals can\ntrigger a massive knowledge transfer for Indonesia\u2019s short-film\ncommunity.
