        "content": "<p>Semanggi cases stalled again<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA : The Attorney General's Office has once again<br>\nreturned the case files for the Semanggi I and II tragedies to<br>\nthe National Commission for Human Rights (Komnas HAM) due to<br>\ntechnical mistakes made by the Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Komnas HAM chairman H.R. Djoko Sugianto said on Wednesday that<br>\nthe AGO returned the documents as they did not have some witness<br>\nsignatures.<\/p>\n<p>Djoko, accompanied by Komnas HAM member Albert Hasibuan, was<br>\nspeaking to reporters after a meeting with Attorney General M.A.<br>\nRahman for consultation to complete the documents.<\/p>\n<p>Djoko admitted the mistake, saying the signatures were<br>\nmandatory under existing laws.<\/p>\n<p>\"We will try to complete the documents in 30 days and send<br>\nthem back to the Attorney General's Office,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>Several students were shot dead in the Semanggi incidents in<br>\n1998 and 1999. -- Antara<\/p>",
