This initiative follows\nthe launch of the Global Million Clinical Study (GMCS) on 8 July, which\nseeks to build scientific evidence for a new global standard in PCR\ntesting.<\/p>\n<p>Using its STAgora\u2122 analytics and statistics platform, Seegene\nconducted an internal analysis of approximately 60,000 test results\ncollected over 42 months. The findings revealed that STI-causing\npathogens were detected in 82% of HPV-positive cases. Furthermore, 71%\nof positive cases identified through comprehensive testing showed\nco-infection with both HPV and STI pathogens. The company noted that\nmany STIs are asymptomatic, meaning they can spread undetected if\ntesting is limited to HPV alone.<\/p>\n<p>Recent research suggests that STIs and vaginal dysbiosis can\ninfluence inflammation, immune response, and the cervical microbiota,\npotentially affecting the persistence of HPV.
