        "content": "<p>Security up at City Council<\/p>\n<p>To ensure security during the inauguration of 75 new council<br>\nmembers, the police will reroute traffic heading toward Jl. Kebon<br>\nSirih, Central Jakarta, to Jl. Agus Salim and Jl. KH Wahid Hasyim<br>\nfrom 7 a.m. on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Tjiptono said on Tuesday<br>\nthat only motorists with an invitation to the ceremony would be<br>\nallowed to enter the road leading to the City Council compound.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We don&apos;t want to take any risks ...  we are prepare for any<br>\nrally or terrorist attack,&quot; Tjiptono said.<\/p>\n<p>The swearing-in ceremony will be conducted under tight<br>\nsecurity, with at least 100 internal security guards deployed<br>\ninside the compound, backed by 1,200 public order officers and<br>\nmore than 430 police officers.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We will require all guests, including new councillors, to<br>\nundergo security checks,&quot; said Mulyadi, head of the council<br>\nsecurity.<\/p>\n<p>The Jakarta Post observed on Tuesday visitors passing at least<br>\nthree security checks in order to enter the main rooms in the<br>\nbuilding.<\/p>\n<p>The chairman of the Jakarta General Elections Commission,<br>\nMuhamad Taufik, said that Minister of Home Affairs Hari Sabarno<br>\nhad included two councillors facing fraud allegations in his<br>\ndecree listing new council members to be inaugurated.<\/p>\n<p>The two, Mustaman and Sumiati Soekarno from the Indonesian<br>\nDemocratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), are being investigated for<br>\ndocument forgery used to run in the April 5 election.<\/p>\n<p>The police are also investigating an alleged vote-buying case<br>\ninvolving Abdullah Prawiradirja, who will also be sworn in on<br>\nWednesday.<\/p>\n<p>If the court finds them guilty, the three could be dismissed<br>\nfrom the council, Taufik said.<\/p>\n<p>The inauguration will be followed by the opening general<br>\nsession presided over by Dani Anwar of the largest faction, the<br>\nProsperous Justice Party faction. -- JP<\/p>",
