        "content": "<p>Security tight for joint Cabinet meet<\/p>\n<p>THAILAND: Security will be tight at a forthcoming joint Cabinet<br>\nmeeting between Thailand and Cambodia after a threat against Thai<br>\nPrime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra was revealed last week, a Thai<br>\nofficial said on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The Saturday meeting is to be split between a morning session<br>\nin Siem Reap, the gateway town to Cambodia&apos;s famed Angkor Wat<br>\ntemple complex, and an afternoon session in northeastern<br>\nThailand&apos;s Ubon Ratchatani.<\/p>\n<p>Thailand has already provided Cambodia with bomb detection and<br>\nother security equipment, a Thai intelligence official said.<\/p>\n<p>Cambodia will be the third country with which Thailand has<br>\nheld a joint Cabinet meeting, following Singapore and Malaysia,<br>\nin an initiative by Thaksin Shinawatra aimed at boosting<br>\nrelations with neighbors.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was slated for March, but was postponed after<br>\nanti-Thai riots in Phnom Penh in January. -- AFP<\/p>",
