Another bomb blast at a public venue. It seems that there is
\nno place in this country that is free from terrorist attacks.
\nOnly two places have yet to be hit by a bomb blast: The State
\nPalace and the Indonesian Military headquarters in Cilangkap.<\/p>\n
Bomb blasts have hit a variety of places: The building of the
\nPeople's Consultative Assembly\/House of Representatives, the area
\nbehind the United Nations building, part of the headquarters of
\nthe Indonesian police, mosques, churches, Soekarno-Hatta
\ninternational airport and even the Jakarta Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n
Although these bomb blasts differ in intensity, their effect
\nis the same: A terror for all, rich and poor.<\/p>\n
So, why should people pay taxes and other levies if they
\ncannot feel secure, something which, according to our
\nconstitution, is the right of every Indonesian?<\/p>\n
