        "content": "<p>Security guard punches journalist<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: A member of the Presidential Security Detail<br>\n(Paspampres) allegedly punched a journalist from the Jawa Pos<br>\ndaily while he was covering the United Development Party (PPP)'s<br>\ntwo-day national working meeting at the Millennium Hotel in<br>\nCentral Jakarta on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged incident occurred when the officer banned Alex<br>\nAjisurya from attending the main room, where Vice President<br>\nHamzah Haz was to deliver his speech during the opening ceremony,<br>\nbecause the reporter was wearing sandals.<\/p>\n<p>Alex said he immediately showed his identity card as well as<br>\nthe invitation sent by the party to his office, and argued that<br>\nother participants were also wearing sandals. But the angry<br>\nofficer ignored his argument and allegedly punched Alex, causing<br>\nslight injuries to his lower jaw.<\/p>\n<p>The journalist boycotted the event and has threatened to<br>\nreport the case to the officer's superior.--JP<\/p>",
