        "content": "<p>Sect members held after 'doomsday'<\/p>\n<p>BANDUNG, West Java: Bandung police detained on Monday 13 members<br>\nof a Christian sect calling themselves \"Prophet Hut\" for<br>\nbelieving that doomsday would occur at 12 p.m on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The 13 were taken from a Pentecostal church in Baleendah by<br>\ndozens of police officers while they attended a sermon on Monday<br>\nmorning at the church along with 283 other people across the<br>\ncountry, including those from the East Nusa Tenggara capital,<br>\nKupang, and the Papua capital, Jayapura.<\/p>\n<p>All shared the same belief that doomsday would occur on<br>\nMonday.<\/p>\n<p>Michael and Daniel, the son of Rev. Mangapin Sibuea, were<br>\namong the 13 detained for questioning by the police.<\/p>\n<p>Mangapin was the priest who had instilled the belief that<br>\ndoomsday would occur on Monday. He has been detained by the<br>\nBandung police since Oct. 23 on a charge of behavior that could<br>\nstir up chaos among the Christian community.<\/p>\n<p>He was charged of violating Article 335 of the Criminal Code,<br>\nwhich carries a maximum sentence for one year in prison.<\/p>\n<p>The police are investigating the matter further. --JP<\/p>",
