The success of an education system should be seen not only in
\nthe intellectual caliber of school graduates, but also in their
\ndaily conduct in different fields of life.<\/p>\n
They should show a positive attitude, good moral conduct,
\nconcern about humanitarian issues, tolerance without egoism,
\nappreciation for dissent and pluralism, hard work. They should
\nshun exclusivism and religious fanaticism, uphold human rights,
\nrespect elders and protect the weak.<\/p>\n
Some private schools seem to pay proper attention to the
\nabove, but they are few in number. In terms of intellectual
\nagility, the results can be seen by the fact that their graduates
\nare able to enter popular universities and achieve good results
\nin various contests, such as the recent physics olympiad.<\/p>\n
The success of several private schools in enhancing their
\nstudents' intelligence as well as morality is due to their sense
\nof responsibility and their curriculum, which provides both
\nacademic subjects, as well as moral education and character
\nbuilding. Therefore, graduates of these schools are no less than
\ntheir peers from state run institutions.<\/p>\n
In this context, it seems necessary to make such moral,
\nethical and character molding courses mandatory in all schools,
\nso that the attitude and behavior of their students and graduates
\nwill be beneficial for their future as individuals and as
\ncitizens.<\/p>\n
