The accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. WIB on Jalan Lauser as the\nfather was taking his daughter to school. According to Kebayoran Baru\nSub-district Head Rachmat Mulyadi, the motorcycle\u2019s handlebars caught a\ncable that was hanging low and protruding into the road, causing the\nvehicle to swerve and the riders to fall. \u2018When they passed Jalan\nLauser, right in front of the park, there was a cable hanging across,\nprotruding into the road, so the rider\u2019s handlebar got caught, wobbled,\nand then fell. At the time of the fall, the passenger became the victim\nwho died,\u2019 Rachmat explained. He added that the motorcycle may have also\ncollided with the school bus behind them.<\/p>\n
The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation by the\npolice. Following the incident, authorities removed the dangling cable\nfrom the area.
