        "content": "<p>SCB bolsters S'pore team<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (Dow Jones): Standard Chartered PLC  announced<br>\nWednesday three new senior manager appointments to its Singapore<br>\nteam, to cope with the expansion of its Indonesian and Thailand<br>\nbusinesses.<\/p>\n<p>Michael De Noma has been appointed as group head of banking.<br>\nHe will be responsible for the group's consumer banking<br>\nactivities in Southeast Asia, the Philippines and India.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Duff is now the new head of corporate and institutional<br>\nbanking in Singapore, responsible for developing a corporate<br>\nbanking business plan and driving the business in the city state.<br>\nPrior to Standard Chartered, Duff had headed the corporate and<br>\nmerchant banking business of an international bank in Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>David Proctor joined the UK bank in August to become the<br>\nregional executive for Southeast Asia and India, corporate and<br>\ninstitutional banking. He had worked with a U.S. bank for the<br>\nprevious 14 years.<\/p>",
